Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you need to meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A minimum matric (Grade 12) qualification is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a similar qualification is preferred, though equivalent experience is also considered valuable.
  • Legal Expertise: Must possess an excellent understanding of local labour laws, including LRA, BCEA, EEA, and OHSA.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in an HR Generalist or Recruitment position, showcasing a successful track record in recruitment activities.
  • Interviewing Skills: Proficient in competency-based interviewing, as well as familiar with modern recruitment techniques and modules.
  • Mobility: Must be willing to travel as required by the role.
  • Licensing: A valid Code 08 driver’s license and reliable transport are non-negotiable necessities to meet the demands of this position.


Key Responsibilities
